The backrest of the chair flexes and was hatched from the principle idea of the bow. Made of laminated steambent balayong wood, it goes through the seat to also function as the back leg. The seat is hand sculpted from saray wood. The front legs are made from yakal. The stretchers are iron wood. All elements create a seamless marriage of aesthetics and function.
